10. Pizza is the best food (or main dish)
Pizza is definitely the best food on earth. The combination of a simple pizza – Creamy cheese, tasty tomato sauce, layered on top of a crispy crust, makes your mouth water every time you see it.
You cannot deny a delicious pizza, fresh out of the oven. The smell of roasted tomatoes and cheese, the sound of cheese bubbling, the glimmering look of a savory red and yellow pizza top makes your body rush toward it. Then, the taste of a complex, sweet pizza goes into your mouth. The feeling of satisfaction just pops towards you! Not to mention – Pizza contains of a great nutrition balance as well. The vitamins from tomatoes, protein from cheese, and carbohydrates from the crust make pizza an ideal food for any occasion. (127 words)
20. You are an instrument
Do you know, you are actually an instrument? You don’t need to rely on any other instruments anymore! You can make millions of different sounds using your body from the top of your head to the sole of your foot.
It is a misconception that people think that we could only make sounds from our voices. That is true, but you can push yourself to the limit. Try saying “boots” and “cats” and enunciate the consonants. Then, say it in a rhythm: “boo-ts-ca-ts, boo-ts-ca-ts.” Congratulations, you have just beatboxed! You don’t need to rely on drums anymore!
You can also do work with your body. Try to beat your chest lightly with one hand. You are already making beats. Try slapping your tummy, your thighs, or even your cheek. There – you have transformed yourself into an instrument! (137 words)
I chose the first choice, edited and modified it based on peer feedback in-class.
