So, what makes a good life? What components make a good life? To me, a good life is a happy life.

slide3

The five main components that make my life happy are education, adequate rest, family and friends, hobbies, and religion. These need to be balanced in one way or another too.

slide4

First, education is not everything! Don’t stockpile yourself with too many classes or APs, but rather keep it balanced.slide5

Here are my classes that I am taking this year. I really like the classes that I chose, and I did not regret my choices at all.

slide6

Also, don’t force yourself to be perfect. You are not perfect, so you should not be getting perfect scores and grades. Rather, find a target that is achievable.

slide7

Choose classes that suit you and your goal. I want to be an architect, so I chose Art, Math, and Physics courses as my main targets.

slide8

Second, we should get enough sleep, unlike my friends who are so tired because they only slept four hours the other night. Sleeping is good for you in many ways.

slide9

In general, the recommended time for sleeping is eight hours. However, I feel that seven hours is fine for me, because I can still be productive yet have an extra hour to do work.

slide10

Also, taking a nap is great if you are tired. Research says, if you take a nap for fifteen to twenty minutes, your brain refreshes and you become positive again!

slide11

Third of all, spend time with your family. Your family is precious to you, and you should devote time into thanking them for caring for you.

Here is my family. I spend time every Sunday with some or all of these family members, including my grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousin, my parents and my brother.

Slide13.JPG

I devote this time because I know they care for me and love me, and shape me into who I am.

Slide14.JPG

Here are some of my friends outside of school. They care for me and I care for them as well. We cherish each memory we make because we don’t meet often.

Slide15.JPG

Fourth of all, I have my own hobbies and recreations. They refresh my brain and loosen my tension. One of the games I like to play is Chess, but I haven’t been playing it much.

Slide16.JPG

I also like to play other types of board games. It helps me think creatively and it helps me to think in a different way. It also increases my interactive skills.

Slide17.JPG

Some games also reflect what you learn. For example, you can learn about kinematics and dynamics based on playing the game “Angry Birds”.

Slide18.JPG

All of these knowledge that you collect through playing games shape me, and that is why I like playing games so much. You can apply and learn in a stress-free environment.

Slide19.JPG

Finally, my religion is extremely important, because it gives me confidence. I am a Christian, and I believe in Jesus, and I believe that Jesus gives me moral support at all times.

Slide20.JPG

Believing in a religion strengthens my faith and my confidence when making decisions. I can make decisions based on moral codes and the confidence I gain through belief strengthens me.

Slide21.JPG

To summarize my Credo, I believe that a good life is a happy life, and education, adequate rest, family and friends, hobbies, and religion make my life happy.
